An interesting crew trainer today in the shape of an Oasis Hong Kong 747, it certainly brightened up a dull winter Sunday –

No not Anchorage or Fairbanks –

The Chippy shots is great…”move over big boy”. I must admit I did have to double take as it really does look like ANC with those snow capped hills. All great shots, especially the unusual angle of the RYR.
All the best

The peaks are actually about 25 miles away and a tad under 3000′

I was thinking of popping down for it hoping that it would clear a bit, but then I found out it had stopped its training circuits soon after 1 so I didn’t bother. Just as well, as the wx just got worse.
Interesting angle from north side of 31 approach with the short in the background.
I like that last show … it looks like there is a runway in the sky. Cloudbase from Captain Scarlet.
