It was up with the birds, to meet the guys from HK spotter forum, a quick ride on the MTR seen us arrive at airport, after buying up supplies we headed out ,the weather was looking great, plenty of sunshine no mist though this was,nt to last
with a change in wind direction the mist started to decend and the runways changed , so we uped sticks and headed to the viewing Gallery and spent the rest of the day there
After about 7 hours at the Gallery(and 700 images) it was time to go , but not before we managed a spectular sunset over the terminal

Great shots Kevin!! They bring back great memories of my trip there earlier in the year. Looking forward to more of the same! Who did you fly out there with?

Cracking shots Kevin, I was on that deck 2 weeks ago! Shame they were taking off towards you as you look out on that pic.
I tried KA house for departures. As you same the weather was great if not a bit hazy.
I also met up with Mr Chapman and other HK guys in a drinking establishment on HK Island 😉
Keep them coming.

Cheers for all the comments guys
with over 700 images these were just a few of them, so if yous are up for more i will do my best when i get home on Thursday
Scotty , it was one of those days , even the guys over here havent seen blue skies like this for a few weeks now , so the were even pleased, the mist would come and go all day leading to the brilliant sunset at the end of the day
Im pleased with the Cathy 747 think its the first time i have managed a shot of her even though i have seen it a the row on numerouse occasions,im a bit peved with the BA747 , as i manged to clip a bit of the tail , if i have just delayed that fraction of a second it would have been perfect( i was going to caption it BEHIND YOU) I have a few more with a similiary vain , but im yet to edit them
Sam Mac
With the way things are i think it could lead to some trouble getting shots of the inside , i might ask and see what happens
The deck is on top of T2 and was quite busy for a Sunday , there are no facilities what so ever , but there is a bin, there are free to use binos that you see at the seeside and with them you can see everything on the airport , again the only problem beeing the angle of the sun and the mist
Umble T I got you’re message ,tried to reply to you by email , but having problems sending will get back to you when i get home (Thursday)
