[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-01-03 AT 05:01 PM (GMT)]its that time of year again…I know this isnt really a historic aircraft topic (dont know how old the Pawnee is but it might qualify ?)but it dont fit in the other forums really…sorry.
Yup, they started spraying our gardens to kill the Processionary caterpillar again today. Tell ya what, it dont help your concentration at work when a Pawnee goes by at window level, I can tell ya.
First piccie was taken at around 9 this morning from my bedroom window, when I belted home to get the wahing in and also the dog from the garden, and I just had to take some piccies.
Cheers
Gary

RE: Low flying…..
Great pics. I don’t know about there, but crop duster accidents here in the states when they happen, are pretty dramatic.

RE: Low flying…..
Cracking little plane, just sort of purrs along until he opens the loud lever then it howls a bit, but hey, getting paid to fly below 500 feet in close proximity to people / dwellings / structures!!!! the CAA’d have a field day out here.
shame its only once a year.
The piccies look a bit pixelated cos I had to reduce the size to post, however, glad they worked for you.
cheers

RE: Low flying…..
Thanks for the pics. I have about 500 hours in Pawnees (glider towing rather than crop spraying) and it bought back some good memories.
