New airline in TUI group: Arke Fly

The TUI group has established a new airline in the Netherlands. The airline will be called Arke Fly, Arke being one of the largest travel agencies in the Netherlands.

Up till now the Dutch arm of TUI booked mostly on independant airlines. Including the EXEL Aviation Group. With the collapse of said airline TUI needed something else. They took control of (parts of) EXEL, and rebranded it.

Starting april 22nd the airline will accept bookings at http://www.arkefly.nl. Destinations include:

  • Canaries: Tenerife
  • Greece: Kos, Kreta & Rhodos
  • Turkey: Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum & Izmir
  • Egypt: Hurghada, Luxor & Sharm el Sheikh
  • Cuba: Holguin & Varadero
  • Dominican Republic: Puerto Plata & Punta Cana
  • Jamaica: Montego Bay
  • Mexico: Cancun
  • Dutch Antilles: Curaçao

The website shows a 767 in the usual TUI livery with ArkeFly titles. Presumably the EXEL 767s will be repainted. So after TUI destroyed the great livery from Britannia, it appears they will now destroy the equally impressive EXEL livery

Dutch only:
