I understand a 2nd airport for Dubai is being built at Jebel Ali, what airlines will operate here?

But isnt there huge construction work going on in DXB at the minute. I remember news of some workers being killed there. I dont think DXB is as slot restricted as some airports but perhaps they are planning for the future??? And it must be a BIG future.
Dubai is desparately building up their tourist industry for 20 years down the line when they run out of oil. Hence these projects with the man-made islands of the world and the palm trees. Two airports would cater for this tourist industry very nicely.

I used to live in dubai and judging by most things there, this airport should (stereotypically of the area) be bigger and more ridiculously more extravagent than any other
