Was a shame the magazine printed a picture of the old terminal at Liverpool in the last edition, not too clever that ! I wouldnt think the airport’s management would have been that impressed either.

Can anyone recommend another good airline magazine? I have just renewed for Airliner World, but wondered if there is any other good mag out there?
thanks, Allen
I also buy Aircraft Illustrated which although isn’t just about Airliners, has a load of great news and features every month. Not to mention some of the best aviation photography to be seen in magazine form.

I noticed them mistakes too. Airliner World has been on a downwards slope recently with the last few issues.
But I think this issue is excellent infact, I think that article on the ERJ 170 is superb.
Hopefully the AW team will make this mag great once again!

€9 wowwww that is alot. Its about €6.50 here which in comparrison to others i quite cheap. I used to but ITVs Formula 1 mag but had to stop because of the cost. It was about £7.00+ before the € arrived. I still get it though. Its great having a family member working in the magazine distributin place.

It won’t be long before it is cheaper to fly Ryanair roundtrip to STN and buy my copy there!
No kidding! It’s especially expensive to purchase AW in the U.S., and in Australia.

One other thing. This months article “Is Low-Cost really Low-Cost?, what does it really achieve, apart from stating the obvious. The only 2 routes on the list that can really be compared are LGW-BCN, then one is a single journey and the other a return. Why didn’t they do both as singles, or both as returns, surely that would give a more accurate comparison! It’s the same for the taxes. It’s more like an article I would have written at school.

Wel, while everyone is ranting at AW I’ll chime in as well. For me there is only one gripe against AW and that is its price! I’m sorry to say this, but I am considering to stop buying it. At 9 euros a month (and rising every other month) it is just not worth it anymore. At current exchange rates I am paying 6,14 pounds! It won’t be long before it is cheaper to fly Ryanair roundtrip to STN and buy my copy there!

I love airlinerworld, articles I think ‘oh god, im not interested in that’, regularly turn about to be wonderful articles, like the one last month about an airline (Cant remember the name), flying around the pacific islands, the article was absolutely superb, and I have read it on more than one occasion.
Air Nauru
I get airliner world on a subscription and still find it a great read despite some of the news being out of date by the time you get it
