Ryanair aircraft move around quite alot. Its somthing we didnt actually relaise until the Dreamliner and the Cable and Wireless aircraft arrived.
Pilots are based at a specifis airport and dont move around like the planes.
As most are 800s now the pilotd can fly any 1 of them no matter where they are based.

Yeah it has been based in Rome for a while, it visited DurhamTeesValley quite a few times in our first 2/3 weeks of the Rome flight!
Scott
Could it not have done Stansted (or maybe Dublin?) to Rome then MME then back to Rome then STN/DUB etc?? Standard sort of thing done by airlines to utilise aircraft better isnt it? I could swear some easyJet flights do that kind of thing and we all know ryanair like cutting costs!

In terms of Ryanair bases, do the aircraft move around or do the aircraft based at Rome stay there? Are the foreign based aircraft flown by Irish or local pilots?
Be interested to know as I’ll be flying to Rome from MME next month with them.
