time to get those ‘ol grey cells working so ‘ere goes:-
A boy of 7 years old lived on the 5th floor of a block of flats and each morning he used to go into the lift/elevator, press G for ground floor and go to school, on the way home from school he would get in the lift/elevator press 3 get out on the third floor and walk the remaining 2 floors………..WHY???????

He can’t reach the 5th floor button in the lift; he can only reach as high as the 3rd floor button on his return from school. Therefore he must get out and take the stairs two more floors home.
Or he could ask someone to press the button for him. }>

Is it that the lift only works to the 3rd floor and every morning he walks down to the 3rd floor and gets into the elevator?
