Oh son, I didn’t say Turkey ‘would’ pound anyone’s arse. According to the statements coming our of Ankara, it is threatening military action (of some sort) should the EU not accept it (and should it accept Cyprus). Basically, it is doing what I said above. This is not right, ESPECIALLY considering the only nation supporting Turkey getting a date next month is (gasp!) Greece.

Argue with yourself on this all you want….

Excuse me, but who the hell is bulls’hitting? As if I’m lying about Turkey “warning” Greece and Cyprus about possible “consequences” in the region if it is not admitted. Instead of saying “we want peace…” Turkey says “if we aren’t allowed it…”. Real focking grown up. That attitude is yet another reason you do not belong in the EU.

Your last post disproves your theory that we are stupider than at least one Turk (yourself). The Turkish and Greek people are not stupid in general, but yes we both have stupid people in our societies.

Maybe the real reason that you are pissed off is that this government looks like it may want to fix its relationship with its neighbours Greece and Cyprus.

The political climate in Turkey has made a dramatic change and this could mean that Turkey is finally ready to sit down and talk (wait for it) “turkey” on the issue of Cyprus, EU.

The leader of the Justice and Development Party (AK) in turn said he planned to visit Athens within the next week or so. «This visit must be soon, in about a week, 10 days. Because time is short,» Erdogan told a news conference.
