Dublin 9th November

Tartan the LTU A330 does a weekly charter to Cape Town,longest non-stop service from DUB,and a bit of a push off DUB’s short-ish runway.

hey hey wee scotty (white van man), long time no hear mate ( Kevin said you had died and didnt invite anyone to your funeral, but i knew different i knew darkside aviation and photography would get an invite.
Must very nice shots by the way like the close up of the delta and jet time with the dark background.

Tony, James, the Jettime was a first for me also, it was doing a SAS flight.
These were shot from the second mound (the one with 2 sections!)at the far end of the car park.
Most were shot with a wee pair of stepladders i carry in the van, which gives enough elevation to clear the fence.
Widdy, the wee red building is a fair bit down the runway from the spot, never had any bother with it at all, No idea why the LTU was in, IIRC they do charters from DUB?? it was lining up as i arrived never had time to put the radio on to hear a callsign.

What mounds were you on ? I see you have side-on shots so if that was the SECOND set of mounds there would be that red & white building right
in front.

Any idea what the LTU was in for ?

Have they built a new mound at that location then? Last time I was there I could only see fence. Did you need steps?
