Filmscanner

Can anyone on the forum give some advise on filmscanners? In a few weeks I am going to buy a 4000dpi filmscanner, and I was thinking on either the Canon or Nikon one, however I was now offered a Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 for a bargain price. Anyone has any experience with the Polaroid? BW Roger

RE: Filmscanner

I use a basic Microtek Film Scanner as I’m only 17 and had to pay for it myself. It set me back just £130.00 and should have been £150.00. The quality can be adjusted and it does the job perfectly. When it’s switched on, it also glows in a nice blue colour!

Microtek as far as I know is a country from The Netherlands. Do correct me if I’m wrong.

RE: Filmscanner

I have the Nikon one and am very happy with it. Best bit of kit in the house, so it is!

It was close between the Canon and Nikon when I was choosing, the Nikon got it as it scans more quickly.

No idea about the Polaroid one though…
