Nothing to do with lack of safety or crashes, something more weird happened yerterday on a Spanish TGV. It seems that a fighter jet overflew the train and placed over it for a while causing panic among passengers and strong vibrations. I imagined a militar manouver, a fresh guy with high levels of testosterone who went independent, but the Minister of Defense denies that any of his jets were responisble and point that a private traning jet could have done that…..opppsss..Are people allowed to have private militar jets in their gardens?. Very scaring. If he goes nuts and decides to crash it against Madrid?. I still have my doubts of the militar version. It seems that the plane had a blue, red and white flag on the belly because there will be joint European manouvers next week. NATO denies the implication. Have you seen the Advert of a pilot who tries to seduce the gorgeous girl on a Citroen as he places his fighter on the car she´s into?. TV gives ideas. Any comment?

Many small biz jets nowadays are being rated for single pilot to attract the owner/pilot market of folks who want to buzz around in their own jet. The JT15D-5 engine which is becoming standard for small jets is making costs of operating comparable to turboprops because the fan and compressor are milled from a solid piece of metal, instead of fan blades being slotted around a disk. Range is really impressive on newer bizjets, the IAI Astra for example with a T/O weight of 24,000 lbs has a range of 3000 nm. How many fighters do you know can go 3000 nm on internal fuel?

It´s hard to believe, it doesn´t make sense to destroy you military career just to play with a train, maybe the train was attacked by an UFO…althought it´s difficult to believe that.
I´ve seen Spanish Air Force MiragF1´s flying really low but it was over the sea.Before Manises AB was closed you could watch even DACT in the place where I go on holiday (Denia, in the mediterranean coast, between Valencia and Alicante). That area is (or was) reserved for military flights below XXXXX feet (I don´t remember the numbre) and they used to fly fast and low along the coastline.
Last year I just saw two F1´s playing “Top Gun” over my house, they passed two times and never returned, still they got everyone out of bed

For what its worth, there are military jets in civil hands in Spain.
At least one Saeta and a Super Saeta are operational, and flown in full Spanish Airforce livery. But, as I knopw who operates those two aircraft, I am sure they didn’t do it. Most probably it was the Spanish Airforce ( I have flown several missions with them in a CASA 235 and we flew very low level (200 feet) during some floghts but these aircraft are no jets. Maybe it was just fantasy

My dad’s on the railways, and he’s seen RAF Jaguars and Tornadoes making practice attacks on his train. But nothing like this… What must the noise have been like? Frightening.

And an acrobatic aircraft?. I feel that this guy should have guts to do this. I suppose a fighter jet requires speed and staying on a train needs small speed and loss of thrust. So a stall is very likely. I though that these things could have been performed by Tom Cruise at Top Gun.

Comments? Yeah, thats a damn good advert! I think what the bloke was on about when he said a private military training jet he was on about if you own a J.P or whatever. But if it was a military pilot doing tht he should be court marshalled, and a civvie should have his licence taken away. Just think what would have happened if his a/c had gone tech, for instance, loss of hydraulics. Doesn’t bear thinking about.
