Got to witness an exercise at Edwards AFB where one of their older Oshkosh T series hosed down their training article (simulated fuselage about the size of a G4 set afire with waste JP-8). The article was completely covered in foam in about 3 seconds! The firemen told me the truck carries 1500 gallons of water and 80 gallons of foaming agent.

has anyone seen those big Green (oshkosh?) trucks at mildenhall – they’re supposed to be the biggest in the world!
