Couple of Glasgow shots from the weekend

Not the best of weekends, but of course you can’t have a September bank holiday without clouds and rain.

Popped down to GLA on Friday for a while to see what was happening. Well, not a lot. So I went on the mound to do the Herald crossword and shoot the Emirates.

The Globespan worked out OK too considering the bogging cloud. I like the angle and the hills … and at lest he didn’t go ballistic on take-off.

A bit of blue was appearing so I headed round pronto on Shanks’ Pony (that’s ON FOOT for those who don’t know) to the north side where the Fedex ATR72 was nicely parked. Ended up racing a black cloud and got there just in time to get a few slides AND a couple of digis. After that the rain chucked it down forcing me to wait for a bus back to Paisley and retire to the pub.

That was that for the weekend, apart from taking this one of the Emirates from Braehead to get the flats and stuff in the frame.
