Hi all
Hopefully this post won’t disappear like my last postings
So, had a job to Le Havre on monday, took a quick visit to Rouen on the way home (pants weather unfortunately):

Then over the ferry to sunny Blighty, took a quick run past Manston:

Only difference from my last visit last year is the above 707, no idea of an identity on this, anyone any ideas?,James, maybe..
Next a short visit to the local on tuesday:
Glasgow:

Lucky timing to get this guy landing on the short…
Then had a run down to Coventry airport for a job, shot a few of the night time freight stuff, but, nothing usable 😡 and finally back up to Glasgow again arriving just about sun up, got some nice early morning light shots to follow…………………..

If you was there after lunch you would off seen an British Airways Cargo 747 doing touch and go. And if you was there Tuesday you would off seen Oasis 747 an Cargolux 747 and Wednesday you would of catched MK 747 ,RAF Herk C-130 and A300F Egypt Air Cargo:D
James
Typical for me,James. Not a sausage visiting when i was there, oh well.
Cheers Lance
No bigggy, done a post from Dundee a couple of weeks back that vanished, and a couple of replies too, all seems normal now.. not worried about it.

Can’t help you with that, mate.
I’ve certainly not deleted any postings of yours, and I can’t see any deleted threads posted by you anywhere.
It’s a mystery to me, as well.
Some nice shots there, too. 🙂

Si: one has to go where one must when the boss’ fingers click hehe
Short Finals and James.. many thanks for that, i knew you would have had the info James:D , That will be excellent to see a 707 back on the G- register , i seen this beastie many times when i lived in Oz (looks a wee bit more lived in now:) ) I was at MSE on monday around 4pm ish after coming off the ferry.
Adam: I agree about the EZY’s normally i don’t bother processing them, but, they did look smart in the dawn light. (very very little processing on all the dawn shots just crop and sharpened a bit.)
Rab: cheers big yin…. speed what???:diablo: :diablo: 😀
Cheers AJ

The 707 at Manston is N707QJ, ex A20-261 of the RAAF. See here for more details:

Your best picture has to be the 2d EZY A319. Sharp, well balanced & caught well in the night. The orange looks great in the rising/setting sun.
Good work mate
All the best
