Testing out my new camera at EDI 2nd August

Here are some shots I took today at EDI. They are unedited and I am a complete novice.

AJ,
Good first attempt with the new camera, can I ask what model it is? As Ramy says just keep on shooting, and that is the sheer beauty of digital cameras, you can take as many shots as your card holds…….I use 2x 1GB cards and a storage device and normally within an hour or so I have both cards full. Also mate, taking the photo is only 50% of the fun, editing it afterwards to try and get the best of of the shot is arguably the most difficult part. If you can get your set up right on the camera then editing will be a breeze as you have done most of the hard work actually taking the shot. Stick with it mate and look forward to seeing some more shots online very soon.

All the best

Si

Great try for your first attempt. I’m sure m’learned friends on here would agree keep shooting, the more you do the better you get, that and there are loads of quality photographers who post here and will be able offer lots of good advice.

Fine attempt there and good quality.
If i may, one minor point of note would be the cropping on some of them needs a bit of work, and the BMI jungle jet is missing half it’s tail. Not criticism, mere observation. Good first attempt, keep at it.
EDIT: scratch the above… i just noticed you said they were unedited  should have paid attention, in that case excellent stuff, esp. the Jet 2 piggy.. get them edited and lets have more.

Excellent shots AJ! I especially like the Jet2. Not bad shots for a first try :).
