They don’t when it works well composition-wise.

A fair point, but in that case perhaps the original poster would have appreciated some gentle advice as opposed to sarcasm? One line sarcastic replies do not help. Ever!

Yeah, thought that might have been the case BNLL …. a bit of something in the way. I like the car getting loaded on btw. Up for captions.

Woody where that A330 was parked a bit of the roof was protuding that winglet so I had to do my best with what I had when photographing that one. 😮

Volkswagen Touareg anyone?

Who says aviation shots always need to show the entire aircraft?!

They don’t when it works well composition-wise.

On first show I’d have included the full winglet (but maybe that wasn’t possible – maybe something in the way, or having reached the extent of the lens). Last shot of the 747 is good – I’d definitely have included the whole tug, it being of the same airline and colours. Shots with planes, tugs, steps and other ground equipment all of the same airline are great.

Cheers,

Woody

Totally agree with Paul, some really good angles and showing that AMS is really a busy airport….my favourite, the first shot.

Well done

Some interesting angles in there from one of my favourite airports, G-BNLL. 🙂
