Hi went down to LBA today, I was dissapointed with my pics as it was quite hazy and they are not brilliant but hey ……
I apologise for the large red & grey content but afterall this is Jet2 City!:dev2:
G-LSAH arrived from Alicante
G-CELB arriving from Geneva
EI-DPO from Dublin
G-LSAB off to Barcelona
EC-HZU from Arrecife
G-LSAH heading off to Palma

G-RJXD to Edinburgh
G-LSAG from Malaga – I watched her land and no reverse thrusters were deployed? (i have pics 2 prove it) Any ideas?
Comments Please

A nice selection there, especially the last silhouette shot! Love it!
Thrust reversers… It isn’t generally uncommon to land using no more than idle reverse if it isn’t really needed, although that’s generally at airports with runways longer than LBA! In the 40 or so times I’ve landed at LBA I think there was only one, or maybe two occasions where only idle reverse was used. The reverse mechanisms as far as I’m aware are usually deployed though, just in case. I’m sure one of our fellow forum members can elaborate!
