I had an oppertunity on Saturday at Edinburgh to catch the Spanish Air Force 707 on Camcorder as who knows when another 707 will turn up here again.
Winds were Easterly as they have been up here for a couple of weeks now so it gave me the chance to stand on the Footbridge for it’s Runway 06 landing and shoot it flying over my head while looking down the Runway.
Lots of smoke and lots of noise it brought back memories of seeing these classics many years ago.
I’ve added two Movie Clips to my web site tonight for anyone who would like to see it in action, both Clips are about 10 Meg and just below 2 minutes so probably not suitable for a Dial-Up Internet connection.
The photo below was snatched in the few seconds it sat at the Holding Point before taxiing again onto the Runway, not the greatest of angles with a Garage in front but photos weren’t my main concern for the day.
