Hi all
Missed the departure of an American reg’d Fokker 70 😡 ,but, was very surprised to see Excel 767 sitting in, in new c/s, never even knew there was a 767 in the new c/s!!!, and think the c/s are awful on the only 737 i’ve seen them on, but, on the 76 they look smashing!. anyways, a few of the GLA brigade were gathered at various gates for it’s imminent departure and some decent shots, when it decided to return to stand and deplane the pax, and still there she sits now!!. i decided to get a shot of her on stand with a wee bit of sunlight, then the heavens opened as per…
On with the show………..( only a few shot…not the most exciting day!!)

The End!!

It was a 76′? Darn blast nation, would have loved to see that!
You’d have loved to have seen it?! I phoned Mark Winterbourne asking what departed LBA when I saw a plane flying over my house I didn’t recognise as I was getting the bus to the airport. Only turned out to be a damned late 767! GGRRRRRR!!
Nice shots, Scotty!

Thanks mate! Looks fantastic apart from the ‘Excel Airways’ showing through…. 😉
No expense spared eh! Thought they were painting fleet rather rapido, and that the front end looked quite dirty for a new paint – obviously now just a sticker change!
I still think it looks quite good though now – certainly a grower.

Great shots, the Chopper came out stunning, what type is it?
Deano, it is indeed a Eurocopter EC135…been a fairly frequent visitor here, i think it is based at Barton, and is owned by Taggart homes, a Norn Irish company.
Peter, the XL was still sitting on stand when i passed this evening, so may be still about in the morning.
