Hi Ian,

I was just having another more in depth look at this thread and I have to say, there really are some stunning images here! Beautifully composed, clear, sharp with superbly balanced colours. A perfect example for us all of how aviation photography should be done. Very, very nice work!

shots are from the end of 27L with a 30D and 100-400 IS L. Some of the landing shots were with a 350D + 70-200 IS L F2.8.

I’d not noticed the “blue bit” does look dodgy but it is sky! The 3 757’s all came in one after the other!

I was trying to work out the blue halo effect around the Uzbekistan 75, then I realised it’s actually a patch of blue sky!

Superb shots there! Good to see VP-BAT as well. I shot her (with a camera that is, not a gun ;)) last year at DUB. A fine sight she was and clearly still is!
