Hi everyone, Just a few pictures from my working trip to Key West and the USS Harry S Truman. Apologies for posting some military pictures in the commercial forum, hope you like them.

My jet to Miami G-VRED

Trying to be artistic!

Approach into Miami..steep turns and high rate of decent until short finals.

Key West

Chalks International

Caravan…one of many!

FEDEX Caravan which operates a feeder service to FLL; loved the loading method for this aircraft.

Cubana AN24 which was highjacked and flown to Key West where it remains due to the US government refusing to allow it to fly in Federal Airspace.

My ride out to the ship…VRC-40 “Rawhides” What an awesome ride…facing rearwards and catching the wire onboard.

VX1 and 2 were conducting initial carrier qualifications onboard. Managed to get some shots between work and eating hot dogs…

Greyhound departing via Cat1..launch weight was 56,000lbs hence the drop off the bow of the ship.

SH-60S of HS3 Tridents lifting from USS Theodore Roosevelt to us.

Thanks for the comments guys, it is a bit difficult to get good shots on deck when I am supposed to be working…I had a lot of “pay attention” over my headset! The Goshawks were great fun and with some of the guys getting a little teezy when I reminded them it was essentially a British aircraft. I am now doing the mundane job of writing the report…….:( I will post some more shots on the military forum.
All the best
