Nah, not what you’re thinking guys… :p
The leviathan – the only commercially operated example of the Antonov AN-22 Antheus / C-o-c-k in the world – paid its 4th visit to Nottingham East Midlands Airport since Christmas (it came to pick up Rolls Royce engines from Derby to take to Airbus in Toulouse). Fortunately – at last – the weather Gods were on the photographer’s side for once!

Andy
PS: Why isn’t c-o-c-k allowed – it IS the legitimate NATO reporting name for the AN-22 after all! 😡

V nice shots, I attach my “best shot”, OK only shot, of an AN 22; taken at Farnborough MANY years ago (the time that she put a set of wheels on the grass)

Great isn’t it ? Sounds like a Hells Angels funeral too. I was lucky enough to be standing on the mound at PIK when she passed through a few years ago…
