I am struggling to get used to my new camera but so far so bad. My pics are very poor and below average butit is my first time.
Some pics are from my back garden, Some pics are from my window ect. You may see some unrelevent pics but they are attually relevent compared to the pics around it.
All these pics are from LBA apart from the first one which is from my window when it was cirling my area

Thanks everyone. I’m sure your comments will help me in the future with my aviation photography project.
Had a very nice birthday with an tasty meal at Muntaz restraunt!

I think the main problem here is that you are taking shots with something that was designed to take videos. If you were thinking about getting into aviation photography properly, I would say you need a dedicated camera of some variety.
Credit for trying though, can only improve with practice!
Not sure what your camera’s like, but Panasonic ones aren’t very good, or are they?
Nothing wrong with Panasonic cameras, seen plenty of shots around the net taken with Panasonic cameras.
How do you resize your photos to 800×600. I have got Adobe Photoshop. Will that do the trick?
Yes. 🙂

Are any of these pictures attually good? E.g the best
Well they’re really blurry and out-of-focus so can’t say they’re good, but with one or two of them, if you actually focused on them really well you could have got something good. Not sure what your camera’s like, but Panasonic ones aren’t very good, or are they?

OK, we all have to begin somewhere and I don’t want to discourage anyone.
Having said that, I can’t see any justification for posting all of these pictures in 6 distinct threads.
Most of them, in all honesty, are very poor quality indeed and it might have been better to post the best 6 – 8 images in a single thread rather than jam up the forum with 6 threads.
I don’t doubt for a moment that your pictures will improve enormously over the weeks and months ahead but, like every other budding photographer (myself included), you have to learn to be your own harshest critic and reject the shots that do not come up to the standard you have set yourself, taking into the account the standard of equipment available to you.
Be realistic, but be brutally honest with yourself.
Happy Birthday, by the way. 🙂

You have to resize your images to 800×600 then upload to Photobucket or any other similar site.

Whats your camera?
By: Jamie_787 - 28th December 2006 at 20:33
It only let me put 10 pics in one thread.
Can anyone tell me who to make the pics big on the page, instead of have to click the small box and waiting for the pic to load

Are 5 seperate threads really necessary?

That’s okay for a first try, it took me a good few years to get okay shots of aircraft, just keep at it and you’ll constantly improve. Think all these photo posts of yours should be in one thread, maybe a Mod can sort that out? 🙂
