How to make an Old Girl look NEW again…

Paint her up in the current Northwest livery….

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/779804/M/

Just think this livery is absolutely stunning and looks great on anything. I know someone is going to disagree with me here, but it does take years off DC9 (if you forget about the dirty marks behind the engine)! 😮

If any plane in the Northwest fleet looks good in the new livery it’s the 744 and even better is the A330. It’s like that livery was made for the A330.

the A330 isn’t old though is it.

We’re talking about the older planes 😉

I’d go as far as to say i’d even prefer the old Northwest Orient scheme to the present day livery

which is horribly outdated.

The new Livery has its charms. The “bowling shoe” livery was realy showing its age.

2 problems with this: 1. The right side of the aircraft the “arrow” points to the Northeast as it only mirrors the left side of the aircraft. So much for it representing Northwest. 2. Most folks younger than about 35 can’t shake the NWA reference.

I still the old livery was outstanding especially on the 757.

I’d have to disagree, i think it’s not a patch on their old livery

When I saw the title I immediately knew it was going to be either a NW DC-10 or a NW DC-9.

Their mechanics are really good at keeping their planes in excellent shape.
