Hi All,
Well… The title says it all really! Another day over the Pennines for myself and Mark Winterbourne today was spent trying to avoid the rain while wondering why the sun wasn’t coming out to play. Abandoning even attempting to get the usual J.Net type shots I’ve taken a bit of a different approach to some of this bunch. I hope you like them!

Photoshop? Me? Nah! Well… Maybe…

Hope you enjoyed! 🙂
Thanks again for driving, Mark!

Not much more money! It’s about £300, which in most people’s terms is a lot! Having said that I probably would go for a 30D if i could:cool:
Very good shots, Paul.
Fair point Tom, although the difference is about £200, which yes, is a lot of money, but if you can afford it, its the best £200 you will ever spend IMHO.

James… The BA 145 was on its way to the engine test bay for a bit of a run up. Not sure why!
Paul
Thanks Pual for info.

That Emirates shot is fantastic: It must be some experience to be so close to it.

Ah, nice to see someone with some common sense! I cannot get over the amount of people rushing out for a 400d when they can have a 30d for not much more money

Thanks for your comments guys!
Damian… The 30D is wonderful! My photos don’t look the slightest bit better compared to my 350D (I knew they wouldn’t), but it’s a much nicer camera to use. Also my cameras go pretty much everywhere with me so they do tend to get quite a lot of use, and I think the 30D’s better build will stand up much better to this than the 350D’s, which after less than a year accompanying me on tour is already showing signs of wear (albeit only aesthetically. Mechanically and electronically it’s still perfect).
So I’m pretty happy with it. I have no money anymore but I do have an awesome camera!
Thanks again for your comments!

Ah, nice to see someone with some common sense! I cannot get over the amount of people rushing out for a 400d when they can have a 30d for not much more money, it may loose out by 2 mega pixels, which you wouldn’t get the benefits from unless you were printing out huge posters! But the 30d is ideal for Aircraft Photography with 5 frames per second shooting and it’s robust build. I’ve got a 20d due for replacement within the next few months, it was nice to hear you are getting on fine with it!.

Thanks Kevin! I can’t blame Lance for todays weather. He was busy Christmas shopping so is definately not guilty on this occasion (for a change :diablo: ).
