It’s something else seeing an airliner that has not been delivered yet, again I managed to see some great sights, here is a selection.
Ethaid
Virgin’s new 600
No idea what airline was getting this 600 series
What a thrill seeing this baby doing touch and goes..I was told that this was the jet’s first flight.

This Turkish 320 later departed on her deliver flight.
India’s new low cost airline INDIGO..she was doing lots of touch and goes.

This China Southern was obviously testing the go around procedures as she would almost touch the ground then rear up into a go around and a hard 30 degree bank.

Air China’s new 330..stunningly simple livery

Again she did a few go around into the low circuit.
Aeroflot’s new 320…she was running up and down the runway all morning doing rejected take off’s then went back to the dispersal to get some airflow test equipment fitted to the vertical stabaliser, you can just make it out behind the top of the vertical stabliser.

This A318 came in with the Corvette chase plane, did a touch and go and then a full stop landing.

The plane that caused the Airbus revoloution.

Thanks for the comments guys, having done a bit of digging, I believe the unidentified 340-600 is for Emirates. As I said in another string, Toulouse is well worth a visit, even if the factory jets are not testing. Flight cost £34.00 from BRS, hotel was 80 Euros and Hire car for 2 days was 90 Euros. I met a guy who had flown down from Gatwick for the day so a day trip is doable (is that a word?). If you go for more than a day I would recommend the tour of the A380 facility; no cameras are allowed inside but it is still worth it to see them on the production line. I am definatley going back although my wife said she would like to accompany me the next time!!! Still there are plenty of fashion shops in and out of town to keep her amused for the day.
All the best

Some absolutely stunning shots in there, Sir. TLS really does look like a superb airport for aviation photography!
Is it just me or does the IndiGo aircraft look vaguely Dreamliner-ish?!

You’re right, I guess it’s a feature of the manufacturing materials ?

I’m guessing it could be Austrian because of the pale blue underbelly ? There was also a private A346 built recently for some oil sheik…

Great shots.
Do you happen to know how many test flights there are per day? And if it makes a difference coming during a weekday or the weekend? I might visit Toulouse (or Hamburg) next year. Would be nice to catch a load of test flights from odd airlines!
