ADP (Aeroport de PAris) has decided to rebuild the roof of the entire dock of Terminal 2E which collapsed one year ago killing 4 people.
The other option was to repair the actual roof but this solution wasn’t considered safe enough. The total cost is estimated 100 Millions €

I travelled through CDG 2E just a couple months before the tragedy. Made me wonder a few times since what if! When are the renovations scheduled to be completed, I am due to travel through CDG on my way to Nice sometime in November?

I also read yesterday that the Star Allaince have reached an agreement to make Terminal 1 some sort of minihub. I couldnt find a proper article on it. Anybody any further info?
