Hi All,
I’ve been so busy recently it feels like months since I last posted some shots on here, so this is my lot from the mini AMS meet last month. Yeah I know, they’re a little late! Enjoy!

Did you manage to get some replacement umbrellas? 🙂
Not yet. I got myself a rain suit though. This I can wear, while people catching a ride can just get wet. :diablo:

Thanks for the link, Peter. Yeah, I’m pretty much dry now. Did you manage to get some replacement umbrellas? 🙂
Thanks again for your comments people!

Really nice shots. I like the in-flight shot and the Surinam Airways most! Hope you are dry by now? 😀
Great pics paul. How many NW flights are there a day???
There are 11 daily NW flights (22 if you count arrivals and departures seperately). On sundays there is one more rotation.
At the moment only 2 MSP flights are still with a DC-10. All other fllights are A330s. At the end of the month the DC-10s will be a thing of the past at AMS as well. Until the 757 is introduced some time next year for the summer schedule, NW will only fly A330s into AMS.
Paul: check this site for the expectations for tomorrow. Have fun!

Special high lights:
ETA 15:00 ETD 17:00 – Tunis Air Force C130
ETA 01:50 ETD 28OCT – Kenya Airways 737 (Possibly parked at Oost? Coming for maintenance. Crappy time I know.)

Actually, I rather like the RAM B737 with the strobe. 🙂

Thanks for your comments so far guys. Always much appreciated.
Josh… I’m not quite sure how many NW flights there are through AMS a day, but I’m sure one of the AMS locals like Peter will have a pretty good idea!
It sure will be sad to see the DC-10 go. I’m heading to AMS again tomorrow so hopefully I’ll get a few last shots of that beautiful machine before she’s gone.

Great pics Paul, I love AMS. Isn’t it a shame we will not be seeing the NWA DC10 anymore, it is a great classic jet.
All the best
