I believe Thai had considered this design by some lady a long time back before going ahead down a different route. The Gold top reminds me of the gold-leafed temples that are a part of the Bangkok Palace…

I think you’re right. This rendition is based on a picture of a large resin model that I saw some time back. I would guess that if a livery makes it as far as a resin model, it must’ve been under serious consideration.

Is this the livery they considered already in 1995-96 perhaps? They planned to revamp their identity then but it never came to fruition.
