Is the lighthouse a part of the museum or just nearby?

Part of the museum mate and in the third pic you can see a rather odd looking building that looks like an upside-down top hat on a pole, that’s the control tower for Sydney Harbour (called the Pill because it controls all the berths in Sydney- play on words there).
