Something different for you lot down near MAN. I believe this has been forced upon US Air due to an A333 being damaged by a de-icer hitting it.

I was rather hoping that US Air would have started an operation out of BHX after seeing the success of Continental?
We could do with bigger busses in now that the Emirates is a B777 however, I heard a rumour that come the summer the B777 is going to be complimented with an A332 for twice daily schedules to DXB?

CO do that at GLA making it GLA-EWR-LAX. When are US getting rid of the 762s? Anyone know what aircraft they will use on the GLA route once the 762s have gone? A330?

The 762 is much smaller than both the A330-200 and the A330-300 which usully operates to MAN, both in pax capacity and cargo capacity.

From a pax point of view I wouldn’t have thought there was much difference between the A330 and the B767. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Purely from a PAX point of view the 767 feels more cramped than the A330, I don’t think the 767-200 beats the A330-200 in capacity either ?

How many B762s do they have left then?
10 active plus 2 in storage.

Not really, except that the 762’s are 20 odd years old, and the 330’s are 4-5 years old max, so they have big differences in IFE.

The LAS-PHL is on a completly different a/c type though I believe.
Amadeus lists US196 LAS-PHL as a 757
This is quite common with US carriers. I think they do the same into LGW but the flight number originates in TPA from what I remember.
United are another one who do this often too. Strange really as if you think about it, you could end up with two flights in the air at the same time, both with the same flight number if one was delayed and other left on time.
