Hi all
Shot over 900 at Leuchars on saturday at what was easily the best and busiest air show there (IMO) yet, worth being gradually toasted as the day wore on, and there was a fajita stall (worth the entry money alone…..yummmm). Just a couple from Leuchars then a visit to Dundee then Edinburgh:
A rare diamond 9 formation by Tornado’s:

Nimrod from Lossie doing a flypast in tribute to the crew of the downed aircraft last week:
And …of course…the Reds:

Thanks Deano.
It is indeed a PC12 owned (i believe) by Transaltis it is F-GVJB. i had thought it may have some Irish connection due the 4 leaf clover.

Thanks lads, Cheers Stuart, was wondering why it was there at that time.
Luke: yes those mil pilots can be nutters, for me,the best display was actually by a chinook!!!, was convinced it was going to slam into the runway a few times……nutter!!
Iain, you should have come it was a magic day, by the afternoon you could get some decent shots with not too much sun.

Just a pity you are shooting into the sun otherwise
Leuchars would be good for photos the display would
have been good as well
The Red Arrows look good

Nice shots, fantastic weather for Leuchars too, definitely would have gone… if it wasn’t for the fact I was working…
I see that you caught the broken FR B738 in the BACON ERJ pic, was operating the morning flight, supposed to leave just after 8am, but didn’t leave until just after 10pm!
