1 April 2005 marks the 50th anniversary of Lufthansa operations after the war. To celebrate this event, a history site has been opened with lots of stories, events and other interesting tidbits.
Check out the ‘Entertainment’ section – it has great wallpapers, photos, advertising films and a screensaver for download!

I heard the same, about the special livery that is. The tour around Germany is new for me, though not entirely unexpected.

Well there are rumors, that Lufthansa will make a memorial flight to remember the first lfight of the new lufthansa on 1st April 1955. A specially painted A321 (in the 1955 colors) will fly from Ham to DUS to FRA to MUS, which was the route of the first flight in 1955.
