Emergency at Dublin Airport 9th Feb

While i was eating Pizza in the layby spotters use i saw no less than 4 airport fire or police vechiles speed towards Pier A (the buttom round bit). Then 2 non airport fire engines went past me on the airport perimeter road (land side) towards the airport but these came back approx 5 mins later and i didnt see them enter airside.

I got back to Holiday Inn and i heard at least 12 emergency vechiles with sirens going close to the hotel which is on a main road to the airport.

The activity finally died down around midnight but i dont think that was a normal amount of emergency traffic for an airport!

Was it all unrelated or did something happen?
