Camera – not really Commercial Aviation but nearly

‘ello all,

I have a Kodax Digital, 4x Optical Zoom, 3.5x Digital Zoom with 3.1 Megapixels, it produces okish pictures, but I want better. It’s too slow to catch things on the move and the shutter window keeps sticking.

Can any body recommend an SLR – Film or Digital? And what sort of price would get me a good one? What sort of lense would give me a good general range?

Any help would be great – also if anybody knows of a good second hand one for sale, i’d be interested.
