POLITICAL EDITORTSUNAMI-struck Thailand has been told by the European Commission that it must buy six A380 Airbus aircraft if it wants to escape the tariffs against its fishing industry.
While millions of Europeans are sending aid to Thailand to help its recovery, trade authorities in Brussels are demanding that Thai Airlines, its national carrier, pays £1.3 billion to buy its double-decker aircraft.
You know people… its exactly this kinda of stuff that I have been getting on at for ages!
Chiraq told Turkey to buy airbus or forget entering the EU. No doubt the latest orders from CSA for Airbus had much the same “incentive” on it.
And we all know LOT will buy Airbus…..they want into the EU after all.
Its about time this stuff got out!
I know I harp on about it all the time… but this latest “demand” disgusts me.
