TUI AG will renew its German fleet of aircraft. Europe’s leading travel group has signed a contract with Boeing for the delivery of ten new Boeing 737-800s. Delivery of the new aircraft is scheduled to take place from early 2006 to mid 2007. When they are put into service, Hapag-Lloyd Flug’s fleet in Germany will be completely converted to Boeing aircraft. The five Airbus (A 310) still being operated by will be sold in due course.
Selling their A310s eh… perhaps Hapag Lloyd are gonna surprise us all and order 7e7’s 😀 not likely, but neither was the First Choice order.
