Monarch Scheduled @ BHX

BBC News just announced that Monarch Scheduled are to start routes from BHX next summer.

Here’s a little snippit from the MON website –

We are delighted to announce the launch of our 4 new routes for the Summer 2005 season.

From 28 April we’ll be starting scheduled flights out of Birmingham Airport, as well as expanding our existing base at Manchester.

NEW! Daily flights from BIRMINGHAM to MALAGA from £39

NEW! Daily flights from BIRMINGHAM to TENERIFE from £59

Great news for Birmingham again, although I’d be very suprised if all the loco’s at BHX managed to stay there. Surely the market will be totally saturated after this. Although, my money will go with ZB any day!
