A French judge has released his official on the causes of Concorde. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4095825.stm It names two factors: a design fault on Concorde and a metal strip dropped by a Continental DC-10.
Whilst none of this is news, what the report does is to officially lay the blame on the design as well as Continental Airlines. Does anyone think this might lead to lawsuits from victims’ families? 20 years ago this would’ve been out of the question, but nowadays… Is there a chance of big trouble ahead for Continental?
