Sterling Introducing Routes to Edinburgh and Montpellier

Danish carrier Sterling is adding several new routes to its schedule. The new routes, to Edinburgh and Montpellier on the French Côte d’Azur, begin in May 2005.

“For Sterling, it’s a question of constantly demonstrating that we are a genuine low-price company with low costs and high efficiency,” said Stefan Vilner, Sterling’s commercial manager. “That means it’s important for us to keep growth going, so that we can benefit from the economies of scale we thereby achieve. That’s the only way we can continue to offer our guests tickets at very low prices.”

Beginning May 1, Sterling will offer a new nonstop route from Copenhagen to Edinburgh with two weekly departures on Thursdays and Sundays. Fares begin at DKK 598 (€81), including taxes, one-way.

Beginning May 7, Sterling’s new nonstop route from Copenhagen to Montpellier will operate once weekly, every Saturday. Beginning June 25, the route will be expanded to two weekly departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays. One-way fares begin at DKK 698 (€94).
