Now remember folks… its still in the test phase, they have several models that they are working on. Collecting data to see which one is better.
Here’s the latest released image of one of the few 7E7 windtunnel models.
Lets not jump the guns and say they’ve scrapped that shark tail just yet folks okay…. design freeze isn’t due for a good 6 or 7 months yet.

yes i can also see the gaps where the horizontal stabilisers are meant to go, the guy in the pic doesnt seem to be holding these. If that is the case it would seem that they might only be looking at the aerodynamics of the area in front of the tail ( fuselage, nose and wing)
thats very possible 🙂

um have we not noticed that there is no horizontal stabiliser in that pic?
have you noticed the guy at the back working on the model? 😉

I’ve always wondered why aircraft noses aren’t pointier It would surely increase aerodynamic efficiency wouldn’t it? Don’t need to go to the needle-like shape of a Concorde, but couldn’t it be a bit pointier than current day models?

Hope it ends up looking more striking than that! A plainer plane I’ve never seen!
sure you have… the entire airbus range 😉 :diablo:
you must concede that, cos they all look the same..

Am I the only one who thinks that the engines look rather huge on the model??? Looks good though
