Lufthansa aircraft en route to the United States diverted to Dublin Airport today following a call to the airline to say there was a device on board.
The 370 passengers and 18 crew left the plane, which is now parked in a remote location at the airport.
Baggage is now being x-rayed, and each bag matched to a passenger.
A replacement crew is being flown in and Lufthansa hopes to resume the flight from Frankfurt to Newark in New Jersey late tonight or early tomorrow.
Dublin Airport Authority says that the airport is fully operational.
