Good day folks..havent been here in a while. 🙂
I will be launching my own aviation industry think tank at http://www.aviationobserver.com before the new year. The site will be having links with major airlines of Asia and Europe and will be advising airlines on route and business structures and oppurtuities in Asia and vise-versa. Along with this it will have a daily updated news section, a world airport guide which will be revised every month AND launched as a hard-copy every year.
I am here to look for recruits to help me with the site and be full fledged part of this project. 🙂 Initialy i would like to have a nod from wysiwyg, Whiskey Delta, Skycruiser, A330Crazy, Bmused, Ren Frew and Greekdude1 to help me in the area of aviation strategies for the think-tank section. I have already colaborated with Air India, SAS and Finnair and they will be looking at our versions and interpretations of operational strategies and market development reports. We will initialy work with these airlines to try establish ourselves. Hopefuly if mu over-ambitious( :p ) plan succedes more airlines that are on the standby to first see some results from the site (Virgin and Jet Airways) will also join us as our potential advice-seekers.
I hope the people i have asked to join me will give me some kind of a positive reply to this plan. The website will be launched before 31st December.
regards
Kabir

That sounds very interesting. If I can help I would gladly do so, but am not an industry insider. I did follow university level international logistics (bachelor in economics and logistics) so perhaps I can help a bit.

That sounds like a very interesting concept.
And provided that the right mix of people are involved and not just any tom **** or harry can register and start contributing, it could be very successful.
