I was delighted to read this in this mornings Irish Independent.
Orient Thai on behalf of United travel will operate a number of charter flight linking Dublin directly with Bangkok.
The first flight will depart on December 27th.
United travel have teamed up with The Irish Independent to give one lucky reader the chance to win 8 nights in Bangkok a prize worth €3000.
I presume these flights will be operated by 747-200s.
has anyone else got any other information?

is it my eyesight,or am i the only person who thinks that the tailplane colourscheme on orient Thai aircraft is a rip off of BA’s chatham historic dockyard scheme?
I agree – I’d noticed that before. Their loco subsid (One Two Go) has a similarly plagarised livery.

Ive just reliased that they also operate 300s.Its becoming increasingly obvious that Aer Lingus should start long haul flight to other destinations other then the US.Wh now have direct charter links to BKK and CPT operated by LTUs A330s.
