This is a slightly unusual question but there is just a chance somebody here might know, or maybe have a taped video, that answers it!
I am currently doing a research project on transatlantic air travel, a couple of months ago I remember seeing a documentary, I think on Discovery wings, following the final flights of the BA Concorde fleet. One scene showed interviews with famous faces on board, one of which was the writer Maya Angelou, she compared Concorde, and the work involved in its developement, with a work of poetry. I caught this soundbyte briefly in passing, and really ought to have noted it down, as it would be really useful to include in my project. Does anybody have this programme on tape, and if so I just need the quote!
Thanks in advance if anybody can find this particular ‘needle in a haystack’!

If you are going to wait for Ren Frew to dig it out, I would also recommend that you keep your eyes peeled in the TV Guide over the next few weeks.
Discovery Wings is one of these annoying channels that has a terrible habit of repeating everything very frequently!
Not so fantastic. 😮
See above, I’ve already dug the dvd out. And yes that particular show was on three times that night. 😉

Ok… she’s comparing the designers of Concorde with poets and she says “They wrote poetry with metal, their great minds and mathematics”.
Is that the one you’re looking for? If so, fantastic. 😀

Erm, has anybody ever had the experience of looking back on a thread and suddenly realising you are one of those people that use the word ‘fantastic’ twice in one sentence 😮
That’s fanatastic. 🙂

Fantastic, there is no big hurry, if you get a chance to have a look at it some time before Christmas that would be fantastic 🙂
