I spotted an unusual visitor to Gatwick in the above photo..sure enough there’s only 1 photo of this type at Gatwick on http://www.airliners.net.

I assume it was a divert from LHR – I can’t remember seeing a Trident at LGW and at that time I don’t think BA had many scheduled services from LGW. One off lease to British Airtours – seems unlikely.
