My mate is a flight attendent with Britannia and he is flying to Damascar in december When Did They start this route and does anyone know why?? it seems a strange choice along with prague.

You have to remember that BY are a charter airline at the end of the day. If someone’s paying the dosh, I’m sure they’ll fly whoever, pretty much anywhere!
No idea what Damascus is all about though. I’ve heard of some near Middle East tours with people like Kuoni etc, but they’re mainly to Jordan, not Syria.

Yep it is and they charter lots of a/c to fly people there, lots from British Charter Companies.

A bit off topic, but pass this onto your mate that BY have gone crap after TUI took over, the service is rubbish and the aircraft are mucky as ever, my seat had tomato ketchup all over it and they did not have enough meals on the plane.
