Last thing I heard was that the long haul aircraft would be A330’s.

In terms of branding, Richard Branson has to be given credit for on the biggest success stories in terms of brand recognition. He’s taking his brand to four continents now (in terms of bases), how many other carriers can say that? To be clear, I mean not that he flies to just four continents but that he brand is based out of four continents and he is recognized right alongside it.

that fact is not lost on me. Trust me I’m in the design business I know all bout that stuff.

Still doesn’t stop the livery being monotonous and at best poor

Well said MapleLeaf!

Stelios isn’t doing too bad with his liking for Orange is he? I can see why RB is sticking with his Virgin logo.

It does also say on the Nigerian website that the new airline wouldn’t affect VS’ existing services, or their Nigerian based staff, so I can’t see either of those suggestions being taken up (although I suppose Virgin Nigeria could codeshare on the existing VS’ flights, depending on current payloads…)

They could operate Lagos to LHR and free up a mainline aircraft for a more lucrative route.

I like the livery. I would like to see it at LHR on a A330 or A340 though…..good luck to the airline.
