Holiday jet evacuated over hoax
A holiday jet was evacuated at Manchester Airport on Friday after the discovery of a suspicious note, later found to be a hoax.
The Air Skanic flight to Tenerife was cleared after the note was found on the plane at 0925 BST, said Greater Manchester Police.
Passengers and luggage were taken off the plane. The plane was expected to take off in the afternoon.

Nope but I could understand if they did, but there is a thread on Airliners.net about it saying that two people saw notes in the seat pockets saying they would be hijacked today (or yesterday now) onboard G-SWJW. They eventually left 4 and a half hours late on board the same aircraft.

I don’t think it was a bomb hoax….The passengers saw the Air Scandic aircraft and just made a run for it 🙂

Oh no nota again. What kind of moron keeps making these hoaxes. My poor Air Scandic, my favourite charter airline of the moment. I loved them for their cheery, cheap livery and old A300s and I love them even more since I found out they were considering taken on MYTs 3-holer.
